Rice Energy’s need to increase interconnect capacity found the quickest way to accomplish this was to add to an existing Momentum Meter and Regulation Station. Rice contacted TEK Construction to provide a turnkey station expansion given TEK’s previous experience with TETCO M&R Stations. TEK provided all construction services including material procurement, fabrication, installation as well as engineering support for structural foundations and equipment platforms. Given the site size restraints, TEK utilized helical pile foundations to increase the amount of useable space whilesaving time and cost since helical piles are more versatile than poured concrete.
